Tucker says he has been doing operations since the stone age and claims to have automated fire. These claims are unverifiable because he’s a privacy nut and refuses to provide enough information to allow anyone to look too deeply into his background. What we’ve been able to ascertain, through word of mouth and some hard to find back channels, is that he spent parts of his early career in Silicon Valley, where he worked on everything from small data centers to large clouds. Prior to joining Siden, he worked for a privacy company, designing architecture for p2p encryption. He joined Siden for the opportunity to build planet scale architecture from the ground up, using DevOps principles, modern architecture and the lessons learned over the last couple decades of infrastructure management and design. His hobbies include trying to automate himself into obsolescence and hiding from cameras.
